Valid Regular Expressions can be saved in the Content Discovery Tool Kit and re-used for future scans. However, Regular Expressions can be removed at any point for simple management between scans.
To remove Regular Expressions, navigate to the Expressions Manager
In the Expressions Manager, select the Expressions you wish to remove from the list using the checkbox to the left hand side.
Next, click the Remove Regular Expressions button in the toolbar. 
To confirm, click Yes on the confirmation popup that appears.
