Edit a Role

To Edit a Role:

  1. Hover over the Security tab on the left charms bar.
  2. Click Roles, this will bring you to the Roles page.
  3. Select a Role.

In the centre of your FileHound you will see the Editing Section, here is what you can do there:


Using the Permissions tab:



Here you are able to set the permissions of a role. The document type permissions are:

  • Createrepresented by a- also applicable for Notes and Related.
  • View, represented by a- also applicable for Notes and Related.
  • Delete, represented by a - also applicable for Notes and Related.
  • Index, represented by a
  • Move, represented by a
  • Download, represented by a
  • Email, represented by a
  • Print, represented by a


Using the Members tab:




Here you can add members to a specific role. To do this:

  1. Find the user you wish to add to the selected role.
  2. Click the Addbutton to the left of the username.
